We are now, very gladly, announcing our next game: Pacts. It is a two player area control game set in mythological ancient Ireland, designed by newcomer and excellent Team Jasper member Ben Brin.
In Pacts, players will take on the mantle of leading a court of faefolk and their allies (be it dragons, banshees, selkies, and so on) to claim territories through placed influence tokens. The issue at hand are the 'pacts' between the players, as one will divide possible turn actions into two piles (along with the advantageous chance to go second) while the other assigns the piles to each player. Balancing what you desire, and what you keep from your opponent, is everything, and leveraging your abilities and advantages will define your chances of victory.
The game plays in about 15 - 20 minutes and is intended for ages 10 and up. The game is expected to be released during December 2025, with early copies available at PAX Unplugged.
